Geronimo got her all these special things but he ended up to find out that the queen was actually the real queen's bad sister and she used all these magical things to kill her sister. So Geronimo gathered up his friends to save the good actual queen. This was a good boo because it has action, climax, and a good conflict. That is my book review on The Phoenix of Destiny.

I read it aloud to a class of 10 year olds. They loved it. The pages are gold-edged and the cover is very beautiful. The children appreciated the way it looked. The Kindle edition would have been a big disappointment to them.

I really enjoyed this story. I checked it out from my library because I love how the book is designed: it has an intriguing cover and gold-edged pages! I read it as part of the Tome Topple Readathon. And I'm glad I did. This book made for a nice break when I was feeling bored by another of the tomes I am reading (*ahem* Lonesome Dove *cough, cough*). Sadly, I still have over 500 pages to go in Lonesome Dove, but I wanted to finish one of the four tomes I was reading, so I focused on this one toda I really enjoyed this story. Sadly, I still have over 500 pages to go in Lonesome Dove, but I wanted to finish one of the four tomes I was reading, so I focused on this one today (August 8, 2017). I really enjoyed this story. Geronimo Stilton is a delightful mouse protagonist and his adventures in here made for fascinating reading. I loved how we readers were given mazes and puzzles to solve, and a strange alphabet to decode (with the help of the key at the end of the book). :-) I do wish, though, that the pages that asked us to find the phoenix feathers and Geronimo's notebook and pen had been worked into the beginning of the story. Coming as they did at the end, well. . . I did enjoy this story, but I didn't want to go through all 574 pages again to find those things. :-/ Apart from that minor complaint, though, this was a fun story. I loved how the text incorporated special fonts and font effects to delineate certain words (example: the word blue was colored blue). And I really loved the illustrations. The team who created them did a fantastic job! They were so vibrant! :-) I was a wee bit disappointed that it took Geronimo so long to realize that Blossom so wasn't herself that he should investigate why. But he did eventually investigate, and he did eventually solve that mystery. It took me by surprise that (view spoiler)["Blossom" was really her twin sister (she had a twin?!). I had thought she was just bewitched by Cackle, the queen of the witches. (hide spoiler)] So that was a fun twist, and it explained why (view spoiler)["Blossom" kept sending Geronimo after increasingly difficult-to-find treasures. She wanted them to trap the real Blossom away forever! (hide spoiler)] :-) I did find it sort of annoying how, every once in awhile, Geronimo would drop a line referencing an earlier adventure of his in the Kingdom of Fantasy. I hadn't realized there were earlier adventures. But in the end of the book there was a long list of other stories featuring Geronimo and others. This book is apparently the eighth! Again, though, this was a really fun story and I really enjoyed it. :-) I am now hoping that my library owns others in this series, so that I can read all of Geronimo's adventure stories. :-)

In the book, Geronimo goes on many quests to find various items but, he got tricked into doing it from Blossoms twin sister. Then he had to stop her from doing it by reversing all of the items he had collected on his quests to finally stop Wither. Geronimo is interesting because he isn't brave like a normal knight, hes very timid and scared! Its very interesting because he always flies on dragons and he gets motion sick. The Phoenix is also pretty fun to see because its almost unbelievable that the frog, daughter of scribblehopper is the phoenix. The theme is about saving The Kingdom Of Fantasy from Cackle and Wither because they imprisoned Blossom in the room. Its also about how Geronimo fetched all of the items to imprison Blossom as a trap and all of the bad parts. The setting is The Kingdom Of Fantasy of course. Its the setting because he starts at his home and community and then he gets called to the fantasy world. He spends almost all and about 99% of the time there, finding items and freeing Blossom. Lastly, for my opinions. I think that the book is great because it has a lot of adventure and mythical creatures like dragons. It has interesting characters and locations in the Kingdom Of Fantasy. I reccomend this book to ages 6-11. Also, I give it five stars.

My least favorite part was when he had to go on several dangerous missions to go get items that seem suspicious. I would recommend this book for little kids that like to read long books because this doesn't involve a complicated plot and story. If I could change anything in the book, I wouldn't change anything, its already a good book to read.

I'm seven and this is the second longest book I've read, and also the fourth Geronimo Stilton book that I have read. I liked the story, but thought it too long. I thought it was better then the others that I've read, and the Illustrations I thought were better than the others too. I like the character Wither, and all the other characters in each book.

As a bibliophile I was drawn in by the cool illustrations, quality paper and that a recent book had gold trim. So I borrowed it! On one hand it is utterly delightful, Geronimo is a mouse, who had many adventures in the land of Fantasy, and he returns once more to a series of quests set by the Fairy Queen Blossom. However Blossom appears somewhat changed, in fact after 1st visit he is greeted by locked doors and doesn't see her throughout. (Not often I start a series with the last one out). The writing changes fonts, illustrations are prolific and the story is interspersed with find it puzzles and mazes (unusually for me I found them easy). There is a plethora of characters with new and old friends involved. As an adult I found myself wanting a child to read it to, (and wondering if my grandson is too old for this or would it spark a revival of interest in reading?) The author takes a ton of cliches and re-invents them with an original outlook. (or something like that). Yet after awhile the repeated start of Blossom not seeing him is annoying. While the adventures unique and enjoyable, they are too easily and quickly dealt with. Or I'm too used to adult or older kids fantasy!

The Phoenix Of Destiny, by Geronimo Stilton, is about Geronimo going on an adventure to retrieve items from different places in the kingdom of fantasy. Queen Blossom of The Fairies is a nice, and kind queen and is a good friend to Geronimo. But, She has been acting mean lately. What's wrong with Blossom? Find Out in the book! I'm giving this five stars because of how much my kids (5 and 8) love it. This is by far the longest book that my five-year-old has read all by himself. So obviously he's pretty enamored with it. I dig all the maps and puzzles and mazes and illustrations.

Out of all the kingdom of fantasy books I like this one the best because this book has a larger story then the other ones and it actually includes characters from all the other books and those characters come and help frequently unlike the other books where new characters come.

I read this book with my kindergartener. It is nicely illustrated and key words on the pages are illustrated as well. The actual story was fun for her and she was excited each night to read the next chapters.
