Tracey loves her family, mom, gran and brother. Her mother sends her to her gran;s with meds for her. Gran asks her to stay to help garden in the morning. During the night, Tracey is restless. Then a bright green light catches her attention. She grabs the bat her gran has by the front door and goes outside. She feels frozen and awakens in a room and is told by the other woman there that they;ve been abducted by aliens. Months later Tracey is trying to become accustomed to being on another planet. Lorth is with Tracey in the gardens. When he saw her months before he was struck by her beauty and made the time to come to know her. He has decided that he wants her to be his mate. Life is very different for not only Tracey but the other human women taken from Earth. Beautiful and sometimes sad story of an Earth woman coming to terms with never seeing her family again and coming to love an alien. Fantastic story and read. I loved the story line between Tracy and Lorth, they first meet on a spaceship and she develops what she thinks is a cute alien crush on him. They do have some things in common like their love of family and working with plants...… but that is not enough to mean that they should be mates. Just weeks after meet her he wants to start the mating trials with him. There are three tasks within the trials. Will the mating trials tear them apart or will they actually bring them closer together. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Not sure what to make of it I have to say that the book is quite interesting enough, though it didn't spark any suspenseful bones I had, and did not quite piqued my interest that much. I came confused at times during the story, and I could not place some scene properly enough, maybe because there is a need to read the prequel - though there is no advisory of such in the blurb. Some scenes are repetitive quite enough though as if these came just as "fillers" for the story. His friend leaves to go to save his mate and he goes with him where they save many slaves. He begins to feel close to one who has a great life of the gardens like him. He knows he wants her as a mate and asks her to go through the trials. She is unsure so she slowly pulls away. Will the trails force them further apart? Will she learn she needs to stay for herself? See what will happen I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
