This book has a good premise but needs drastic professional editing. Though I liked the main character, the writing was poor and the situation superficial and simplistic. All the characters were one-dimensional. They kept complaining about how hard their lives were, but they had known nothing else, so how would they know hard from easy, until they found the miraculous underground facility? I managed to finish the book, but it was a heavy slog.
